Adventure Biking trip in morocco atlas mountains 8 days Itinerary:

Day 01: Marrakech
After arriving in Marrakech, you will be received by our staff and check-in at the hotel/riad, before spending the night there..

Day 02: Marrakech – Imlil – Tachedirt
This is the start of the riding on the first day, We head direction of Techdirt for stay night in im orlad and start with a 1hr climb to the top of the pass. This trail is a good introduction of what’s to come: A fast but technical mule trail with a few tricky bits thrown in for good measure. This singletrack stretch is over three hours long! Accommodation for the night is a Guesthouse, a basic building comprising cooking area, shower, toilet (french style!), eating area and rooms for sleeping. ( 20 km day’s journey )

Day 03: Tachedirt – Imsker – Tiziane
A hearty breakfast and stock of energy bars will see us through the next piece of mind-blowing singletrack! From Imi orlad we head through the Tiziatin Forest and Gorge. The scenery is amazing if you can take your eyes off the trail! After lunch head of towards Tizi n’Test (2092m). A steady climb on singletrack and dirt track for about an hour then another night in a Gite with dinner cooked, as always, by Our Berber chef. (32 km day’s journey)

Day 04: Tiziane – Ouirgane – Amizmiz Valley
Another hearty breakfast and stock of energy bars mixed with singletrack and piste take us towards to Ouirgane. Again, the scenery, views, and villages you pass through on this stretch are breathtaking.

After lunch, we leave Ouirgane one more singletrack which will take us to Amizmiz where we stay in a comfortable hotel for the night. 32 km day’s journey

Day 05: Amizmiz – Wadakar
From here we head up the Oued Amizmiz Valley to Azeghour, steady piste riding, and stunning scenery. At Azeghour we head towards Toulkine on the other side of the river on singletrack all the way to Adghous. From here the trail becomes more technical (loose and rocky) until we reach Tiqlit and pick up a short dirt track to Wadakar. The majority of this day is on more technical singletrack so even though it’s only about 30km,

Day 06: Wadakar – Imlil
By now you’ll be pretty tired! So after breakfast, we head back towards Imlil one more twisting singletrack. Less technical and faster than yesterday, this is real grin factor stuff! Total ride time today is about three hours but still worth every minute. If we have time and the legs for it there is an option for another big singletrack descent into Imlil, but the climb to the top pass at 2200m will test your legs. 35 km day’s journey

Day 07: Imlil – Marrakech
Pack up the bikes after breakfast, load the 4×4 and off to the hotel in Marrakech for the day and night. Explore the city and if you’re up for it, a Hammam to help refresh aching limbs!

Day 08: Marrakech – Airport
Transfer to the Airport
